Izabela Dominko, Ph.D. - Â Dance/Movement Therapist, personal advisor, trainer and coach speaking fluent English and deepening her knowledge of DMT under the supervision of Corinna Brown from Pratt Institute/ New York.
"Movement and dance was a very important part of my childhood.  The closest ones  used to call me „quicksilver", what expressed mobility and aliveness of my person in the body of a little girl. This area was developing in a natural and spontaneous way for quite a long time.  Dancing lessons became available after moving to Warsaw and were taken just before my thirties at the Warsaw Ballet School where in the evenings amateurs were dancing.  Poznań Biennale of Dance was my annual intensive training and great fun. In 2004 I have met there Thomas Wetzorke- German Dance Movement Therapist. For 10 days I was experiencing DMT work and I have learned about  the foundation of Polish Dance Movement Therapy Institute. I have enrolled to a 3-year DMT course run by British and American Dance Movement Therapists.
The field of DMT has become my own development path and the area I am very passionate to share. Since 2004 I read, dance, observe, work with movement on therapy, coaching and training sessions learning theory and gaining experience. Â The groups and individuals I had the privillage to work with include: children from an orphanage, teenagers from foster families, adults within clinical setting (schizophrenia, personality disorders), private practice clients and business clients.
In 2009 IBA first Polish Dance Movement Therapy Centre having a team of four Dance Movement Therapists working together. Within the frame of an authentic creative process dreams come true."
